Soup and toast second event report
40 keen, enthusiastic Mountain Bikers plus supporters turned out on a crisp but sunny Sunday morning for a great but muddy ride. Thanks very much to Chris and Julie for the opportunity to ride on their farm.
The riders ranged from juniors whom completed 1 or 2 laps with their parent's through to vet 4 riders (> 60 yrs). Everyone completed between 1 and 5 laps, with 3 laps of the 5km course being the most popular choice in the time allowed.
The largest group being the Vet 3 class (50 - 59 yrs). Not only males get out there and have fun in the mud, 4 ladies also took part. Sarnim Dean managed to complete 5 laps in the allotted time, a great achievement considering the deterioration of the track especially in one section where it became impossible to ride.

A great day out in the countryside at a fantastic venue having fun, getting muddy and getting fresh air and exercise, what more can we ask for!
The next event is on July 14.
