The junior athletics programme gives 3 - 14 year olds the chance to learn the basic skills of track and field athletics in a family-friendly environment. Children can practice and compete using the skills they learn.
Parents drive our club and provide the basic coaching on our club nights on Wednesdays. Everyone pitches in to make things run.
Our club helps families keep fit and healthy, and to make friends. The Lynndale club has members in their 80s and 90s who met at athletics and still meet every week.
In addition to the junior programme, the club is open to seniors on Tuesday evenings. If you’d like to use the track and work on your fitness, let us know.
Club runners also head out as a group on Sunday mornings.
