The 22nd Annual Tour of the Bay Fun Ride will be held on Sunday 14th October 2012
Tour of the Bay organisers would like to thank Caltex who have been the key sponsor for 21 years.
We welcome our new sponsor, Strata Group Consulting Engineers Incorporated and look forward to a partnership in the coming years which continues to help grow cycling in the Bay.
This year, participants will have the usual options for Solo, Tandem and Families... this event is open to everyone with a bike!
Courses are anticipated to remain the same in 2012 as those offered in 2011 (Hub Cycle Centre 105km, Pak'n'Save 50km or Raisey's Original 20km solo and tandem rides or our special, family iWay 10km ride).
The ride will begin with a controlled start from Sports Park Hawkes Bay in Hastings, taking cyclists through magnificent countryside on peaceful country roads.
With over 1000 riders and thousands of dollars worth of spot prizes and giveaways up for grabs, the event was very well received in 2011 and we look forward to seeing you back here in the Bay on 14th October 2012.
