Victoria Eagles Volleyball Club is an affiliation of the Eagles Volleyball Club and the Victoria University of Wellington Students Association (VUWSA). The club caters for all levels of player, from elite wishing to compete in the New Zealand Club Championships, to the social recreational wishing to play in mixed social competitions in Wellington.
Eagles Volleyball Club has a proud history. It was formed in 1969, and was one of the pioneer clubs in New Zealand. The NZ Senior Mens Championship Cup is the 'Eagles Trophy' named after the club for its contribution to volleyball, and contribution to the formation of the NZ Club Championship. Eagles originally trained at Victoria University, as it provided a quality training venue and a good supply of young players. Eagles Victoria is not limited to students and welcome all to participate.
