Congratulations to Wellington East 1 and SMOG 2 winners of the 2010 Pakn'Save Regional Super League. Wellington East 1 took out the Pakn'Save regional league title downing Naenae White 65-44. Wellington East slick attack combination of Liz Donoghue, Conal Grant and Jo Haanstra proved too strong for the young Naenae team. The shooting end of Wellington East with GS Jamillah Gupwell shooting 17 out of 19 attempts 89% and Jo Haanstra GA at 79% with 22 from 28 attempts. This was backed up with Charlene McKay GS scoring 24 out of 34 attempts. Naenae White caused the upset on Saturday beating PIC 1 in the semi-final. Naenae goal shoot Angela Mitchell proved the lethal weapon with superb shooting and rebounds. Naenae won 59-57 in the last 3 minutes.

In the division 2 final SMOG 2 showed they were here to win a title and that they did. Knocking out club favourites PIC 2 by one goal in a clinching semi-final game on Saturday 44-43.
In the final against Wellington East 2 in the division 2 final, SMOG were on a mission to make the season a winner downing East 2 53-42 to take out the Pakn'Save division 2 cup.
