Old Boys Prems took on Hawera in Hawera for the first day of the 2 Day Comp. Hawera lost the toss and were put into bat, but were soon back in the pavilion after being bowled out for 88, Old Boys had a shaky start losing 4 quick wickets before B Fale & J Dravtiski Steadied the ship, B Flae scoring 71 helping Old Boys to a 1st Innings total of 178 for 8 at the end of play.

This Thursday the Prems will be taking on United in the Final of T20 Competition to be played at Pukekura Park at 5pm.

2nd Grade played against Marist United this weekend at Western Park and had a very poor game against United, due to poor fielding preformances from certain players United were able to post 241 for 6 in their 45 overs. Old Boys were soon in trouble with the only main runs coming from K Ghate 35 and R Pieters 20, Old Boys were soon bowled out for 114.

Next week 2nd Grade play against Woodleigh in the final game of the round robin at Vogeltown Park.

4th Grade had a crashing defeat to Oakura, Oakura batted first and put on a maiffive 309 for 5, Old BOys were bowled out for 169.
This week the 4th grade take on Merrilands at Vogeltown Park.

The 2009/2010 season is approaching fast, and the Number 1 cricket club in Taranaki will again be looking to enforce its dominance on all other clubs. With some exciting editions to all squads, they will certainly be looking to keep the permanent fixing of the Premier Two Day trophy on the wall at the 'home of cricket'. Also to the Prems bring back the 8th Win in a Row for 2 Day Competition. To the 2nd Grade lets take it one further and bring back the North Taranaki Trophy.
