Stewart’s Gully Sailing Club was formed in 1950.
Sailing on the sheltered waters of the Waimakariri River between the old railway bridge and the Kaiapoi river and beyond.
Only fifteen minutes drive from the centre of Christchurch.
We are a family oriented club with an emphasis on yacht racing, coaching, learning to sail, safety, Racing Rules and social activities.
How to find us: Turn east down Kainga Rd, from just south of the old Waimakariri road bridge, go past all the houses and turn left towards Riverlea Estate, right at reserve, then keep left following the yacht club signs, up over the river stopbank to Stewarts Gully Sailing Club.
