WELCOME to the Tai Tonga 41 Outrigger Canoe Club website.

Our Vision is to be a proactive part of the Community while maintaining waka ama tikanga, whanaungatanga, and hauoratanga

2009 Goals
-  ­To increase membership at all levels
-  ­Fundraise to purchase 2 new waka
-  To compete at 3 local and 2 national events as a club
-  ­Have 10 teams compete at National Club Sprints in January 2010
-  ­Develop a healthy whanau club, vibrant coaching environment and a robust club committee that supports members to gain optimum experiences.

We are a whanau friendly club based at Evans Bay Yacht Club, Evans Bay Parade, Evans Bay, Wellington.  This is where waka are stored and trainings are conducted.

Club gear is kept in an allocated area within the Yacht club shed.  Gear may include spray skirts for waka, lighting devices, life jackets, paddles, and bailers.  Club equipment is provided to ensure safe waka use for introduction purposes.
