The Monrad Badminton Club began in 1961/2 and has played in many varied locations over the years.
You would have to suspect that it had it's origins at Monrad Intermediate School and you'd be right.
It moved it operations from there to QEC's new gymnasium in the late 80s for a couple of years and then went to the Teachers College Gym for several years. We had a few good years at the old YMCA stadium before it was closed down and from there went to the arena complex for a few years as well before finally settling at the St Peters College Gymnasium when it was opened in 1999.
