Who can join Belisha?
Anyone interested in dance and  willing to participate.  Current members are old and young and with a wide variety of fitness levels. Some Middle Eastern dance styles, such as 'baladi' are easily achieved by "most" people ... Other styles require more practice to master them. Some Medieval styles are vigorous and need stamina, others are more courtly and sedate. burlesque is an acquired taste.  Come along and enjoy.

Rotorua in October/November - Get Active, Stay Active ... but you can do it wherever you are! 31/10 is a display and November 17th is a 'taster' session by Belisha for this event in Rotorua - but you can join us anytime!

Tauranga's sessions are an excellent way to get active & stay that way (Wednesdays, 7pm start at Cliff Road Club Rooms ... behind the hedge, next to the Rose Gardens ... all are welcome) Cost: current BDC members $6, newcomers $20 for one workshop or $45 for 5 sessions (including BDC membership)
