This organisation is the sole New Zealand affiliate to the Institute of Aikido in the UK.

Instructors Board Director Ray Eder has been appointed by Mr H. Foster, Director Coaching of the Institute of Aikido in the UK , to be his representative in New Zealand.

Members of clubs which belong to the Institute of Aikido New Zealand are affiliated to the Institute of Aikido UK through this link.

Dan grades issued in New Zealand before a grading panel convened by Ray Eder are included in the Dan grade register of the Institute of Aikido UK.

This organisation does not run classes.
It is a parent body for aikido clubs that want to train under the umbrella of the Institute of Aikido UK and with the guidance of its highly respected Coaching Director Mr H. Foster (7th Dan)
