We are a group of keen women, breast cancer survivors that started in 2003. Boobops main focus is to promote wellness, fitness, fun and camaraderie for the breast cancer survivors and supporters.

Thanks for checking out our website hosted by Sportsground.co.nz.

The Boobops Breast Cancer Dragon Boat Team have had a very successful record of wins in the 11 years since they first began.  We were National Champions in 2011,2012 and 2013, and won every race except the 500 metres in Ashburton in 2014.

The team trains 2-3 times per week during the summer season (Oct - March) at Sulphur Point Tauranga habour.  The season started in Oct 2014 with the team competing in the World BCs in Florida where they placed 19th out of 101 teams.  They then took out the Super 12 Breast Cancer final at the BOP Dragon Boat in November at Tauriko, The Lakes.

Even after Breast Cancer you can still regain your life become very active and competitive even to a National level and make life long friends who have been through the same journey.

If you are keen come down to Sulphur Point any Saturday (8.30am) or Wednesday (5.30) and join us!  You can try out paddling three times before we ask you to commit to joining the Club.
