WELCOME
The Cambridge Swimming Club was first established in 1897. It boasts an outdoor heated 50 metre 7 lane pool and an outdoor 15 metre heated LTS pool.
Our club caters for swimmers of all ages and abilities and promotes the development of every member's swimming in a friendly, supportive family environment.
We aim to provide opportunities for all swimmers to reach their goals and potential whether they be as a recreational or competitive swimmer.
Our club has a professional coach and is run by volunteers who willingly give up their time to help make our club a successful one. It relies on the goodwill and support of its members.
At various times throughout the year, the Club holds carnivals and fundraising events as well as our weekly Thursday night club races.
Our CLUB NIGHTS offer swimmers:

a full range of competitive strokes and distances for beginners through to the more experienced

the chance to compete against their own times and fellow Club members
-
the opportunity to familiarise themselves with race procedures
-
practice for new race tactics, starts & turns prior to competitions
-
ability to develop at their own pace and improve on their best times in each stroke
-
preparation for school carnivals
-
the ability to develop and maintain fitness levels and a healthy lifestyle
