The Motueka RSA Fishing Club is a friendly family oriented club which celebrated its 10th birthday in March 2009.
The club endeavours to provide opportunities for its members to go fishing and to partake in various social activities which are organised throughout the year.
Fishing trips include deep water charters to locations such as; Cook Strait, Durville Island, Clarenceand Kaikoura along with local trips such as; Scalloping in Golden Bay, Kahawai BBQ days, Salmon farm visits etc.
The club also organises an annual Take a kid fishing day as well as the annual Motueka fishing competition in January.
Social activities include; A Xmas party with Pig on Spit, A mid winter dinner, A womens trophy social weekend, BBQs etc.
Current membership as at August 2010 is 70 families and membership is open to RSA members and spouses/partners and their school age children.
