Welcome to the webpages of Manawatu Gymsports Inc.
Gymsports is the new term for Gymnastics and it encompasses 5 different codes. These codes are:
Womens Artistic Gymnastics (WAG)
Mens Artistic Gymnastics (MAG)
Rhythmic Gymnastics
Aerobics (AER)
Trampolining (TRA) - includes Tumbling & Double Mini Tramp
Manawatu Gymsports offers training in Womens Artistic Gymnastics, Mens Artistic Gymnastics and Trampolining which are all featured at the Olympic and Commonwealth games. (We do not offer Rhythmic Gymnastics or Aerobics but would like to in the future)
We have competitive squads in WAG & MAG and one or two competitive Trampolinists.
We have a proud history of achievement competing at provincial and national level.
All our competitive gymnasts have to start somewhere and the starting point is our Recreational Programme called "Gym For All" this is a programme that has been developed and endorsed nation wide by GymSport NZ.
