GAMES DAY

We had a small but fun group turn up to the games day.  Weather was great and everyone had  fun and enjoyed there self.  I think there are a few games horses out there that we just did not know about.  Every one went home with a ribbion which was great to see. Thank you to all those that helped in any way.

SADDLE UP HOY
Wow what a great day we had for Saddle Up HOY.  Great weather, great company and great fun.  Thank you to all the people that helped in any way if it was setting up, judging, time keeping, packing up or just being there to support.  Also a HUGE thank you to the land owners Jill and Nigel for the use of the wonderful land and the jumps.

Lets just say that the day was full of fun fun and more fun.  I even rode my hunter and lets just say the obstacles were very interesting to him.  There was a little bad luck though for poor Shelly as her horse pulled up lame after the dressage but with the great kindness of Jane and Greer, Shelly got to complete the day on some shared horses.

A big congrats goes out to all the riders and our grand champ on the day was Toni riding Hawk.

Results will be posted in the next couple of days.



INHAND AND FLAT SHOW

Wow what a turn out we had for the day a large number of entries across the whole event. The sun was beaming down making it a very hot day. This was our first time holding this event at Manfeild. A big thank you to all those that helped run the event. See you all at the Saddle Up HOY.



N.I.T.E
Well done to those riders that competed at N.I.T.E  Congratulations to the Manawatu Green Zone for there great team results, 1st in the Quadrille and 5th overall.  Also well done to the other team The Beach Babes for there Quadrille I hear you had to brave the cold rain in your beach outfits. Also the Green Zone team bought home the house keeping trophy.  A BIG thankyou goes out to all those that made the journey to Taupo to support and help the teams.

CHRISTMAS RALLY
Well what a fun day we had at the Xmas Rally held at Manfeild in the weekend.  There were some great Fancy Dress outfits and I think some horses may now have some identity issues as well ( Reindeer or Horse?)  The games were so much fun and a few people decided they did not want to get there hair wet when it came to apple bobbing and Jane some how finished up as if it was a wet T-shirt comp and Jaymi lost her santa pants during a game which made for some laughs. The jumping was a great event to watch, to see who had the guts to try the joker which of course had the Xmas theme to it, so it was a little spooky for some horses but most horses did not bat an eyelid while jumping it. We finished up with a great shared lunch and a good old catch up chat. A BIG thankyou goes out to every one that made the day happen.

TWILIGHT SJ SHOW
Thanks to everyone who attend our Twilight Showjumping Show, our competitors and judges braved the occassional downpours but still had a great time and didn't let a little rain stop them.    Thanks to Feilding IA and P for the use of the jumps and once again the Manfeild Pub Charities arena proved its worth,  such a fantastic surface to ride on.
