CLARISSA ESHUIS - MY STORY

Following in my fathers and older brothers foot steps I started playing hockey when I was 7 years old. I was born in the Waikato region and grew up playing hockey in Hamilton, New Zealand. I started my hockey career representing the Waikato junior teams and followed the age group pathway up until the NHL Midlands Womens team.

I made my  Black Sticks debut in 2005 against the U.S in New Zealand and now I have played over 90 international test matches for New Zealand.

In 2006 till 2008 I lived in The Netherlands and played in their National Hockey League.

I am now training, studying and living in Hamilton.
