Learn about pistol shooting in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere at the South Canterbury Practical Shooting Club where we are
happy to show newcomers how to shoot a pistol safely whilst having fun at the same time.
You may visit the club up to three times prior to applying to join.
You do not have to have a firearms license to join, however you should be taking steps toward achieving this as soon as possible upon joining the club.
Time: Most Saturday afternoon starting at approx 1.30pm.
Duration: Anywhere from 2 to 4 hours depending on numbers in attendance and weather conditions.

What do you need to bring
The following is mandatory and you will not be permitted access to the shooting area without these items:
- Safety Glasses , preferably in a wrap-around style.
- Earmuffs or ear plugs.
