Kapiti Wanderers walk every second Tuesday (non-pension day - pension days are shown on many calenders). We catch either the 9:30am unit from Waikanae (or Paraparaumu) and travel to somewhere between Pukerua Bay and Porirua or the 9:00 unit and travel into Wellington.
Our next walk on Tuesday 15 May will be around Petone. Catch the 9:00am train from Waikanae (9:05 Paraparaumu) and we will change trains at Kaiwharawhara. For the return, trains leave Petone between 1:30 - 2:00pm connecting with Waikanae trains at Kaiwharawhara or Wellington.
Good wandering to be had along the foreshore and arround the shops with plenty of lunch spots. The Museum is being opened for us - please bring a donation of $2.. No emails are sent from this site
