This combat style is achievable by people  experienced in other martial styles - particularly those with Medieval combat codes (SCA, NAAMA, HMB, BC and more).  To join The White Company: Click Here

Currently the contenders are working hard to improving their fitness levels, with widely varied routines - from combat training through to stealth-ninja equine attack, adding to those 'incidental' training opportunities such as sheep-wrestling, chainmail swimming and the more traditional pursuit of fitness through hard-hitting gym sessions.

  There is much buzzing of brains as research is made into improving all hard-kit (the armour) and the authenticity of soft-kit (the clothing worn underneath the armour and the clothing worn off the field of combat) - down to the fine detail.

  There is potential to bring international re-enactors to NZ for an event here at some future time, particularly if our team for 2012/3 make an impact on this intensely exciting-to-watch activity.
