Havelock North Bowling Club established in 1916 is one of the largest Bowling Clubs In Hawkes Bay with 210 members.

Winter programmes are now available for collection at the club.

Congratulations to Trish Milne and Heather Leyland winners of the Women's Champ of Champ Jnr Pairs played yesterday.
Heather also came runner up in the Women's Jnr Champ of Champ singles on Saturday in a closely contested match.
Not to be outdone, congratulations also to Nigel Hounsome and Greg Hodges, runners up in the Men's Champ of Champ Jnr Pairs.  A great result from our junior club members.

Friday Open Hetro Triples

Commence on Friday 11 May 2012.  Run for 4 Fridays of each month and continue through to end of August 2012.
Start 12.30pm
Cost $18.00 per team
Dress is mufti
Duration 3 games of 7 ends
Enjoy a sausage sizzle at the end of each Friday's bowling.
Any cancellations will be advise to all skips before 11 am on the Friday.  Teams will need to re-confirm their participation at the end of each month.

The Freemason's Charity Tournament held on 15 March at the Havelock North Bowling Club, raised just on $2,000.00.
The money will go towards helping provide an Advanced Neonatal Training Simulator for the HB Neonatal Unit.  Thanks to everyone who supported this tournament and to the many helpers who organised this event.

The winner of the tournament was a composite team skipped by Ian Rapley.

Champ of Champ Women's Pairs
Congratulations to Liffy Law & Heather Leyland of Havelock North, winners of the C of C Triples played 25/26 February.  Runners up were Bev Withers and Barbara Clark from Bay View.

Lion Breweries Open Hetro 2x4x2

Women's Singles
Congratulations to Liffy Law winner of the women's singles competition played 7-10 February 2012.  Runner up Pauline Craven, well done.


Mens Singles
Congratulations to Graeme Fulford winner of the men's singles in a very tight match with Pat Minogue.

Len Doughty Cup Mixed 4's
The final of the Len Doughty Cup Champ mixed fours was played today in very blustery conditions. It was a great contest with both teams at 15 all with one end to go.
The winners were Dudley Hunt, Brian Phillips, Yvonne Hunt & Robyn Phillips beating John Overend, Bruce Fair, Laura Overend and Wendy Hicks by one point.

Clapperton S/E Triples
On Wedneday 11 January the Clapperton S/E triples was played. This event was sponsored by Don Clapperton who has been a playing member of the Havelock North Bowling Club for 50 years.  A great achievement.  Well done Don.

Tong Cup Junior 2x4x2 was scheduled to play for 7 & 8 January at Havelock North but because of the torrential rain was contained to the first day only.  The winners were:
