Papamoa Tennis Club

The Papamoa Tennis Club is a lively and friendly club based at the BayTrust Tennis Centre, situated on the Gordon Spratt Reserve off Parton Road.

The club has four astro and two hard courts within the BayTrust Centre 16 court layout.  The entire facility is a base for the Western Bay of Plenty Junior Tennis programme and frequently hosts large junior tournaments.

Papamoa Tennis Club thrives on a healthy mix of social and competitive tennis, played throughout the year, and caters for a variety of levels. While Saturday afternoon premier inter-club allows the best players to compete against each other and earn representative selection, a layered inter-club level on Friday nights and Monday mornings allows competition for differing abilities. Junior competition has been enhanced by the addition of Grasshopper events for beginner players. Wednesday night and Saturday club events mixes seniors together in doubles and singles competitions. Those players who have only just returned to the game or who prefer a less competitive environment appreciate the option of playing on Tuesday and Friday mornings.

Tennis is a sport that can be learned at any age and it can be played at so many levels that there will be one which is just right for you. Prospective players are welcome to visit one of the club sessions to see how it matches their needs.
