This club was formed to further develop the sport of Rhythmic Gymnastics on the North Shore. Several senior gymnasts from the North Shore became foundation members of this new club established in April 2007 along with coaches Margaret Woolf and Pauline Jack.
The club has acheived a high consistent standard with several gymnasts being selected for Nationals and International competitions since this club was formed.
In 2008-2011 we ran the Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, a National and International event on the rhythmic calendar. These competitions were a roaring success and have been nominated as finalists in the Massey University North Harbour Sporting Excellence Awards category of "Event of the Year" held in November 2008 and 2009.
The club is open to new members who wish to compete or just wish to have fun and keep fit. Competitive and fun classes are available.
