Welcome to the Waihi Beach Tennis Club (Inc) website.

The Waihi Beach Tennis Club was established in 1931. It is well known to have the best views in the land and is situated alongside the Pohutukawa  Scenic Reserve with overhanging Pohutukawa and frequent flying visits from native pigeons. All this plus 6 all weather courts and only 200 mts from Waihi Beach. To finish it off new flood lighting for our 2 new courts have just been installed and we have just moved into our very spacious new clubrooms.

The friendly, social atmosphere of the Waihi Beach Tennis Club is another of our attractions. For those of you who enjoy social tennis for exercise or fitness we play every Tuesday and Friday morning 12 months of the year. Just turn up at 8.30/9am and you will receive a warm welcome.

For those of you who like to be a little more competitive we have regular Club nights on a Wednesday at 5.30pm and run a range of popular summer tournaments.

We presently have over 60 Junior members who  have their own training and competitive afternoons. College members meet between 4 and 5.30pm on Wednesdays and Primary school children meet between 3 and 4.30pm on Thursdays. The club also arranges coaching clinics as required.

We have a growing membership with Family subscriptions available and the courts are available for casual hire for non members.
