Our goal is to develop and promote high-standard and enjoyable drug-free powerlifting competitions throughout the Auckland Area.
Free coaching sessions are now available in 2012 in the Auckland region, this is open to anyone who wants to give powerlifting a go, work on their technique or go over any gear issues with our coaches, Steve King and Kevin Strachan. Auckland Raw Championships 2012:
The first Auckland Raw Championships will be held on the 3rd of March 2012. This is the first time the Auckland Association has held a Raw competition. This will be run along side the first Novice competition for 2012.
Special thanks to the Auckland Association for putting on a great show at the North Island Champs held on the 3rd of December 2011 at the AUT, Akoranga Campus, North Shore. Many NZ records were broken in the competition. Also several members went away happy with personal bests.
