The Wanstead Polo Club was established in 1959 and runs its club on the property of Andy & Hayley Barrett, Lake Station, Wanstead, approx 27km southeast of Waipukurau.
In its current years the club is stronger than it has ever been, being one of the largest clubs in New Zealand.
The Wanstead polo club is well known for its ability to compete competitively in the New Zealand polo circuit and for the enjoyment its members gain from being part of the club.
