Trek 2nd November
You MUST register ON THIS BOOKING SITE
to secure your place within instructional classes at rallies. Instructors are only available for the number of riders registered, and any more participants would detract from teaching, and increase risk. The organisers and coaches are mostly volunteers - please respect their contribution. Our rally coordinator is Kirsty Heaton, please contact her if you have to cancel your place at the rally asap. Our HEAD COACH DONNA WELLINGTON is the person in charge of all aspects of the rally - please liaise with her!
Participants should arrive 15-20 minutes early, in order to saddle-up, and to help set up equipment
ALL ADULTS AND UNMOUNTED PARTICIPANTS ARE EXPECTED TO HELP SET UP AND DISMANTLE EQUIPMENT.
No one may leave before the conclusion of the rally, without permission from the Head Coach, President or Rally Coordinator - these are Pony Club regulations, and failure to comply may mean ineligibility for Pony Club teams and championships.
Riders are expected to warm-down their mounts while their responsible-adults put away equipment, and the instructors fill in their rally report-cards and compare notes to select a rider of the day.
At the conclusion of each rally, after the equipment has been stowed, there will be a short debrief, and a Rider of the Day will be announced.
Flaxmere Pony Club is a branch of Heretaunga Pony Club. We have regular rallies at the HB Equestrian Park on Equestrian Lane near Hastings.
Our grounds not only have wonderful free-draining soil, but also a full range of cross country jumps - some of which we own, some we borrow. A fully enclosed sand arena is a brilliant addition for riders of all levels, and is also gratefully used by riders on young ponies maybe on their first outing, or young riders on ponies which have a sense of adventure!
