Hawkes Bay Squash Rackets Club began its days in a humble water tower on Cameron Road, Napier Hill. From this auspicious start, the club has grown to boast over 200 members, with 5 courts, a fitness room, bar and players’ lounge.

New members are always welcome. Long-term members are here to lend a hand coaching, give tips to improve your game and buddy new members with players of their own standard.

We host several tournaments over the year, including a number of social tournaments. These are a great way to meet members and club supporters/sponsors.

We run a strong junior programme, ranging from beginners through to intermediate level. Junior Club night is on a Friday starting at 5.30pm.

Courts are also available for casual games - please call the club to book a court.  The cost is $10.00 for 45 minutes

The bar is open Monday – Friday 5.30 until late, during tournaments and at other, ad hoc, times over the weekend.

The kitchen is open during tournaments and other events and on the last Friday of every month which is the Members’ Night.

Our strap line - fair play and fun for the whole family!  We are a family-friendly club and like to have fun at both social and competition level. We are one of Hawke’s Bay's longest standing and most successful squash clubs and over the years have had many gifted players come through the club.

The club has enjoyed significant success over the years at both local, National and International level.

Social and Interclub competitions are held throughout the year. The viewing facilities are excellent, with 4 courts in a group with the gallery accessible from the lounge.  Court 5 is a glass back stadium court with seating for approximately 180 people.

We pride ourselves on working hard to keep this club running at the highest standards possible and are always working on improving our facilities to the advantage of our members.
