1st Holder of the "Jarred Blackler Memeriol Cup:
There has been a bit going on since I wrote in this section.
Both "RAM" team were unable to clip the visiting "MAGPIES" a couple of weeks ago.
"B's" losing heavely not able to secure the Country Calendar Trophy.
While after putting up a good effort the "Speight's Cup aftyer a couple of yeaes in the trophy cupboard it found it's way back to the Magpie's nest. losing 21-25.
So last week all eyes were on how to over come the "Jeresy Pullers" in Timaru. High expections were sxpected from both teams.
As results now show the "B's" have continued to come up with soe good play's and brought home the "McLaughlan/Murray" Memerioal Trophy.by a margin of 22--5. especially for Terry who help to donate the trophy.
Now for the Senior "RAM" side after being down at the break came home strong to secure a 39=5 victory.
Now for this week both game's are very vital for both the "RAM" squads.
The Top "RAMS" sit just one point ahead of the
Wondering Wallibies from Waimate plus they are defending the' Burnett & Heath Shields"
A five pts win is a must to keep in touch of hoping to get into the top four.
After a good win last week. and they brought home the "Des Ponsonby Cup" from the first round, another 5 pts win will be what they are looking for.
Sobest of luck teams a secure 2 wins for the "RAMS"
