Creating links

It's easy to create links from your website. You can create links from any image or text (including your scrolling ticker) to:

External websites
Simply type a web address into any text area and save your page. The web address will automatically be created for you and the public will see the words 'Click here' over your link.

Documents
Before you can link to a document, it must already exist on your own website or another website. To learn how to upload a document to your own website, CLICK HERE. Once a document has been uploaded, you can link to it from other pages. Simply right-click your mouse over the document and select 'Copy shortcut' from the dropdown menu.  This copies the link and you can now paste the link into your text on another page by going to the position in the text you want the link to appear, then right-click and select 'Paste'. The link address will look like gobbly-gook in EditMode but is you save your page and view it, you'll see that it has been converted to the words "click here" in public view mode.

Email addresses
If you type an email address into your text, it automatically creates a link for you. When someone clicks on the link, it opens their email program for them, with your email address automatically inserted for them.

Other pages within your website
To create a link from an image or text to another page in your website, simply right-click your mouse over the page name that you wish to link yo and select 'Copy shortcut' from the dropdown menu.  This copies the link and you can now paste it into your text and save your page. NOTE: you must ONLY copy the shortcut while viewing your website in PUBLIC mode (not while editing your website) or the shortcut will not work for the public.

Tip: To easily create a link, right-click on the item you want to link to and select 'Copy shortcut' from the dropdown menu. This copies the link and you can then paste it into your text and save your page.
