The next round of club track maintenance is scheduled for March the 26th and 27th in the Easter holidays. We will have a digger, tractor, Mower and dozer on site to make some small alterations to the track. We will also be spending some time on the Minis track as a working Bee and will need the assistance of a few mini rider parents to help with weed wacking the minis track, and to assist with mowing the track and making it wider for our mini riders. We have a few parents that have offered their assistance but we may need some more please. We will have the time to make small alterations to the minis track so if you or your young riders can think of anything you want to alter let us know...... within reason of course, I.e small alterations.
If you have a small Digger in your yard or lawnmower or weed eater then please bring it down to assist. We are hoping to be finished on the Sunday and have an Open / Public fun day on the Easter Monday. If you want to know more information please contact us here or PM us.

Thanks - Committee.

Forestry roads closed to all motorbikes! – Fire Risk!
Please be advised that all forestry roads are closed to motorbikes for the summer season for all Nelson forestry blocks in the north bank Richmond range area. This is inclusive of the Bartletts creek, Onamalutu valley road, Top valley, Cat creek, Te Rou, Pine valley and Fabians valley. These roads are permit only in the winter months and a permit can be obtained from Nelson Forest. The road to Lake Chalice is the only road open to motorbikes for the summer months but the bikes must stay on the main road and not turn off into the forestry blocks or ride fire breaks. Nelson forestry has informed us that these areas, mentioned above, will be patrolled during the weekends and they intend to prosecute offenders in these areas. I am sure we can all agree that due to the potential fire risk that these are more than reasonable requests from Nelson Forestry to eliminate motorbikes as a potential fire hazard.
Please advise your friends and family that may not be following this page but are riders of these areas, of this information if possible.
