The hill track and the Wadsworth farm is closed for about 6 months for lambing and new seed pasture. The river track is still open.
We have had some comments asking if the forestry roads have been re-opend and to confirm that they are all still very much CLOSED. We will keep you informed after as to when they might be open. These areas need alot more rain before they can be re-opened.

Forestry roads closed to all motorbikes! – Fire Risk!
Please be advised that all forestry roads are closed to motorbikes for the summer season for all Nelson forestry blocks in the north bank Richmond range area. This is inclusive of the Bartletts creek, Onamalutu valley road, Top valley, Cat creek, Te Rou, Pine valley and Fabians valley. These roads are permit only in the winter months and a permit can be obtained from Nelson Forest. The road to Lake Chalice is the only road open to motorbikes for the summer months but the bikes must stay on the main road and not turn off into the forestry blocks or ride fire breaks. Nelson forestry has informed us that these areas, mentioned above, will be patrolled during the weekends and they intend to prosecute offenders in these areas. I am sure we can all agree that due to the potential fire risk that these are more than reasonable requests from Nelson Forestry to eliminate motorbikes as a potential fire hazard.
Please advise your friends and family that may not be following this page but are riders of these areas, of this information if possible.
The club track is now open again, contact Mike Holland for key purchases,021549525 or keep an eye out on Facebook for our monthly open days held on Sundays from 10am to 2pm, or click the calander for the next open day.
We have now set up online club membership applications including the option to purchase a track key.
