HISTORY North's affiliation with the Kapi Mana Netball Association [as it was then known] dates back to 1975. The Club was formerly the Titahi Bay Rugby Football Netball Club [made up of partners of the rugby Players].
In 1990 the Titahi Bay Rugby and Porirua Rugby Clubs amalgamated to form the Northern United Rugby Club. The netball Club followed and changed its name to the Northern United Netball Club.
The Norths Netball Club is based in Porirua City and has 4 Premier teams, 3 Junior teams, 4 Novice teams, and 1 kiddies development squad which has weekly skills and game trainings. This Club is thankful to everyone who helps out with the development squad but acknowledges particularly the work Jim, Pare, and Pohoira do. Club colours are red, white, and blue and the uniform is a navy blue skirt and navy blue and red top.
The Club is also in partnership with Mana College and assists with the selection and coaching of teams and the acquisition of netball resources and gear.
We are always on the lookout for Coaches and team Managers. If you think you could help in any way please contact us directly.
The Life Members of the Club are Noeline Fisher [Patron], Elaine Wi [current President], and Mate Hunter.
