Te Aroha Swimming Club Incorporated
Steve Darby, President
Te Aroha Swimming Club Incorporated is a volunteer based organisation promoting swimming to the community from Swim safe through to competitive squad.
New Zealand has a rising drowning rate. Swim ability, confidence, fitness and endurance are important to work on and our club is trying to give our members these skills.
We attempt to meet the needs of many levels of swimmers. Beginner, developing, improving, technique improving and fitness for swim fitness and safety in NZ waters, also for the swimmers who want to represent the club in competitions.
The 2016/17 summer season will kick off in mid November at the college pool. Dates will be confirmed shortly.
Time to get ready for the upcoming season.
Training squads are presently operating out of Matamata pool on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights. Contact head coach Daniel Cooper on 027-7888120
Pool heating update:
Piping to the filter room will be done either these school holidays or the Xmas school holidays.
We are now seeking donations from the local community to help make this project a reality.
