Wesley Harrier & Athletic Club
has a proud tradition going back to 1933.
We have current New Zealand representatives in athletics, cross country, triathlon and duathlon.

Whilst our 'home base' is Greenwood's Corner in Epsom our runners reside all over Auckland (including the North Shore).

The majority of the season's events are held Saturday afternoons at different places around Greater Auckland so those involved in other morning winter sports can compete.

Athletics NZ have introduced a new registration system which all clubs are being forced to use. You will be able to manage your details personally, at some point, but there is a confidentiality aspect that you should be made aware of.

The new system allows any club registra to look up any athlete in the system. The information they can see is your registration number, full name and birth date. The reason this facility exists is to allow registras to request Athletics NZ to move athletes who are transferring clubs. We have identified this issue to ANZ but despite ongoing flagging of this issue they have ignored our request for this to be addressed.

If you are concerned about this then please
email Brett Addison at Athletics NZ.
5th October NZ Road Relay
Venue: Christchurch
Our "A" Team battled to a creditable 5th place in the A Grade whilst the understudies took gold in the C Grade Open. This was the third time the club has won the C Grade title at the National Relay Champs. Thanks to the organisers for a great weekend.

12th October (SUNDAY) Wesley AGM & Prizegiving
Venue: Melville Park Pavillion
3pm AGM
4pm Prizegiving
After prizegiving we have been invited to gather at the Stewart's house for a relaxed casual dinner. Address is 39 Henley Road, Mt Eden. Only minutes from Melville.

"We will have the barbeque on so if people could bring meat and drinks that would be great.

The rest will be just pot luck. I will put together a few salads and a cake, but if anyone else would like to bring a plate to share (salad or nibbles or dessert) they are more than welcome."

2015 & Committee
We need more helpers for next season especially in the junior area (U15 & younger). If the club is to simply continue let alone grow then we must have more help. If you are happy to assist then please email us wesley@wesley.org.nz
